Dr. Lilly received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his surgery residency at Brown University - Rhode Island Hospital, and his vascular surgery training at Northwestern University Medical Center. Dr. Lilly has been a faculty member at the University of Maryland since 1989 and was the chief of vascular surgery at the Baltimore VA before being named chief of surgery at UMMC Midtown Campus in 2004.

Dr. Lilly’s special interests include carotid surgery under local anesthesia, pharmacologic treatment of claudification, biologic function of the vascular endothelium, and non-invasive assessment of the mesenteric and renal disease.
Dr. Lilly is board certified in general and vascular surgery.


Rishi Kundi, MD

Vascular Surgeon

Dr. Kundi received his medical degree from Michigan State University. He completed his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, and his fellowship in vascular surgery at Columbia Univeristy Medial Center and Weill Cornell Medical College.

Dr. Kundi’s special interests include endovascular surgery, aneurysmal disease, peripheral arterial disease, carotid arterial disease, aortic disease and diabetic vascular disease.

He is board certified in general surgery.


Tanya FlohrTanya R. Flohr, MD

Dr. Flohr received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed both her residency and fellowship at University of Virginia Health System. Her special interests include vascular and endovascular surgery.


Rajabrata Sarkar, MD, PhD

Division Head and Chief of Vascular Surgery

Dr. Sarkar is an expert in treating blood vessel disorders and a nationally known researcher in blood vessel growth and development. Prior to joining the staff of the Vascular Center, Dr. Sarkar was an associate professor of surgery and a vascular surgeon at University of California, San Fransiciso since 1999. He received his medical degree and a Ph.D. in physiology from the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed his surgical training at UCLA and was trained in vascular surgery at the University of Michigan.

Linda Dewberry is a primary care and ANCC accredited certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) with a long-standing interest in cardiovascular disease. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Nursing and received her master’s degree in nursing from The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2011. Prior to joining the staff at University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus Vascular Center, Linda Dewberry was a Cardiac transplant coordinator and nurse practitioner at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her special interests include vascular surgery and reduction of cardiovascular risk factors through effective patient education. Ms. Dewberry was awarded the Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Award, Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2011.


Irina Shrage, CRNP
Registered Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified, Vascular Center

Irina Shrage is a certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) who specializes in adult and gerontological care. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Nursing and received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2011. Prior to joining the staff at University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus Vascular Center, Irina Shrage was a Adult Nurse Practitioner at Mercy Medical Center, and a Registered Nurse in the ICU and the Telemetry unit at Harbor Hospital.
