IHV at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus provides comprehensive medical care for people with HIV and specialty care for other viral diseases including Hepatitis B and C. Our doctors and nurses work as a team with social workers to provide comprehensive treatment and support services.
The Institute of Human Virology (IHV) at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus accepts a variety of private insurance plans as well as Medical Assistance Managed Care Organizations.
In addition, we see uninsured HIV-infected patients free of charge. If you do not have insurance or lose your insurance coverage while you are a patient, you can still get HIV care at UMMC Midtown Campus. Our social workers handle insurance issues and concerns.
