Welcome from the Associate Program Director

Hello prospective UMMC Midtown Campus trainees! As the partnership and collaboration between University of Maryland University and Midtown Campuses continues to grow and evolve, this is an exciting time for our trainees and for me. I am a proud graduate of the internal medicine residency and infectious disease fellowship programs at the University of Maryland, and am an assistant professor of medicine for the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

I joined UMMC Midtown Campus' family as associate program director of the internal medicine residency in early 2016, and am excited to serve as one of many links between UMMC University and Midtown Campuses. Because the faculty of both campuses are involved and invested in resident education, this program is able to offer a community hospital feel with a collegial atmosphere, while also providing educational opportunities traditionally only available at University training programs. We hope you’ll consider joining us at UMMC Midtown Campus!
