Es el movimiento o diseminación de las células cancerosas de un órgano o tejido a otro. Las células cancerosas por lo general se propagan a través de la sangre o del sistema linfático.

Si un cáncer se disemina, se dice que "ha hecho metástasis".

  • El estadio del cáncer
  • La localización original del cáncer
